It’s important to note that while lemon balm is generally considered safe for most people when used appropriately, it may interact with certain medications or have potential side effects in some individuals. It’s always recommended to consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using lemon balm or any other herbal remedy, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition, or are taking medications. A healthcare provider can provide personalized recommendations based on your individual health needs and considerations.

Could lemon balm be a super herb? I personally love it so much. It makes me sleep like a baby. I discovered it when my parents had an abundance of it growing in their garden. It growed so much they called it a weed! It smelled so delicious we would drink it as a tea. When I googled it, I was taken aback to find how many health benefits this rampant minty leaf was packing. I still like to drink it as a tea at bedtime, or use a dropperful of tincture, it gives me the BEST sleep ever! I sleep through the night and wake up feeling refreshed, not groggy.
